The searching dog's success is dependent on YOU doing what is necessary for a successful search. Listen to the handler, provide necessary materials, answer questions as needed and don't interfere or distract the searching dog.
INFORMED CONSENT
1. We love animals with all our hearts and are committed to training force-free maximizing fun and playful techniques. We emphasize fun and joy in our training and work to minimize stress as much as possible.
2. We base our training methods for searching on scientifically proven methods that are animal-friendly.
3. We foster our continuing education and consistently work to continue our education.
4. We educate humans to employ patience and to seek to understand animal’s needs and wants.
5. We coach people to communicate consistently and clearly with their animals.
6. Clients should know they are empowered to decline any recommendations that we make for them or their dogs. We encourage clients to ask questions.
7. During searches, we may utilize photos, videos and/or live cam. These photos and videos are the property of Fairfield Pet Detective but shall be available upon request to clients. These photos and videos will only be used for promotional purposes and training.
8. The handler may terminate the search if factors and conditions are deemed by the handler to be unsafe for the handler and/or searching dog.

We are a purely voluntary team right now. We may in the future charge for a search, but right now we find satisfaction in helping others.
Our purpose is to help find a lost pet service with heart, timeliness and instructive.
There are many ways to find a lost pet, this is but one way. In most of the cases we have read about, this way is generally done last after all other efforts have failed. We feel that this is the wrong way to find a missing pet. The trail gets rained out, mixed with other animals scent and the time spent even finding where the animal is in present time is lengthy.
